Choke for 12 ga TSS / Benelli Nova ??

Thinking of setting up my son’s Benelli Nova for TSS. Currently shooting Win LB out of a .665 Carlsons.

I see Trulock has made their TSS choke for the Benelli Mobil At .640. My question is what have any of you TSS shooters found? Generally a tighter constrict? Open? Just depends?

If I do go TSS, it would be 3” 9’s.

The best advice is to call the guy who does all of the custom work for Benelli. Rob Roberts he’s tested about every type and size of shot and they can tell you what constriction to use. ?+1 (870) 251-9955

And honestly any shotgun they work on them all.

I have found that most of the factory full chokes that came with the guns do produce a great hunting pattern. I test drive a IC .555 through my X3 long beard, to tight for my liking. 365 in the 10@40.

I would try your factory full and the Carlson's before I bought another choke tube. I shoot a ST .675 from my 12 ga Beretta with excellent results. I'm sure Trulock knows what they are doing but most TSS handloaders are shooting .665-.690 in 12 gauges.

try the 665 you have.   We run 665 to 675 most the time in them.
