I received my first box today from TJ and all I can say is wow! Fantastic craftsmanship and a just a great guy to talk with. This one is Chakte Viaga/Black Limba. By the way it sounds as good as it looks and I’m planning to get a couple more from him really soon.

TJ Johnson has been mentoring under Marlin Watkins learning to build Marlin’s fiddle box. He takes great pride in his work and they sound and look fantastic. It won’t be long before he has an extended wait time for purchasing calls imo. Also, he is an NFL offensive lineman.

I think most are around $175 and some go up to $225
