Which Optic
« on: December 15, 2018, 09:26:26 PM »
Trying to decide between a scope or fast fire.  I have a fast fire on my 12 ga but I kind of don't like dealing with batteries and turning it on and off.  Just kind of want a regular scope with no batteries or anything that lights up.

So what scopes is everyone using?

Scope's , i used are the Nikon Turkey pro , which they don't make anymore and the Simmons pro diamond ... both are great scopes .. Finding a Nikon Turkey Pro , is hard to do.. if you fine one expect to pay anywhere between 150 - 400 dollars ... Simmons will cost you around 100 dollar.... For a good red dot don't over look the Bushnell TRS 25 ... you can fine those for 100 dollar .. and it has good reviews and works fine ...

I spoke with leupold and they are entertaining bringing back a turkey plex reticle  scope after discontinuing them for their 2018 product line.

I am sure that will make a lot of people happy from all the reading I have done when I was talking about buying the scope, it seems it was quite well liked.

I used a 1-3 Nikon for years,  but recently switched to an Aimpoint Pro. I had used the Aimpoint Pro for years with great results on several AR's. You turn it on and leave it on, battery lasts for years, practically indestructible.
Guess I'm a little slow, should have made the switch sooner.

Scope is nice,  no batteries, etc. FF3 is horrendous. Very user unfriendly and just not a great product imo. I’ve never used the suggested aimpoint but another suggestion is an Eotech. They do have batteries but changing them is real easy.

Don't overlook the Mueller Quick Shot.
