Could someone tell me if this is a 1917 or 1920 Permar or maybe another model?

I bought it sometime ago never used it I hunt a Permar 45 delrin.

Thanks

Its a 1917.  The 1920 lacks the step down on the body.  I think yours is more rare.

.....also if its cocobolo its even more rare because after Ralph's supply is gone he won't make anymore calls from that wood.

Thanks for the info that is what I thought it might be cant find a pic of one where the lanyard cut is in the wood like this one, I bought it quite sometime ago.

Great running trumpet, I like the delrin 45 model to hunt with since it is weatherproof and some may not like em but I really like the way that model 45 runs in the woods.

I don't see how anyone wouldn't like that delrin .45.  One of my all time favorite hunting trumpets.  Had Ralph make me a coco .45 with ivory mp also.  I love that .45 model.

It is a great running trumpet and a great hunting call.

It's Ralphs 2nd generation 1917 he made. First had no place for a Lanyard. Neat call!!!! I have a set he made from Buffalo horn.

I like the 45 as well in the turkey woods, sounds awesome and realistic.  Easy to run
