Just got this new Lonnie Gilbert scratcher in the mail today and its a player!

Its wormy ambrosia maple and walnut with a butternut soundboard.

He send me some newly designed curved strikers he just started messing around with.

They really bring this call to life and are easy to play.

Yep I am sold, I played this one over the phone earlier for Mr Gilbert 5 minutes after opening it and he said you have run one of these a time or two inferring I have been using them a long time which I have only really been running one for a week now.

I got a lot to learn but this one sounds better than any box call I have (I have some good ones) and its got a lot of volume also.

I am definitely a member of the scratcher club now!

A buddy of mine had a few Gilbert scratchers. Pretty cool looking and they sounded good. We took some rounded edge strikers we had sitting nearby and ran the call than. It was fantastic.
