Stoned Aluminums

Here's a batch of stoned aluminums I just finished up. This was the first time I've used stoned aluminum and I'm very pleased with the sound.


I made a stoned aluminum over glass in tigerwood (goncalo alves), walnut and zebrawood.

All sound good,but I'd have to choose the Walnut...
I think you could take a twig to a rock and probably make it sound pretty good though...Lol..

I agree with you on the walnut although the tigerwood is a very close second. I'm hoping the zebrawood gets raspier once it's completely dry.

It would need to be the right rock and twig combo
