2018 Tennessee turkey season review

I finally got the video put together that highlights the best (and a few of the worst) parts of the whole season.

In short, it went from my worst season ever, to one of my best ever, and it literally changed on a dime at 1/2 way through the season. I saw 7 birds die, missed 4, got some good video along  the way. For those who are interested, the video is 24 minutes long, but I cut out all the boring stuff and went down to the point... hope yall enjoy

Good job Catman. I had already been following your season on the individual videos, but just watched the compilation. It's been fun watching you grow as a hunter. Keep up the good work. I sure miss being able to put in the time you are able to. Enjoy it while you can!

I read that Tennessee's total harvest this spring was about 25k birds compared to 33k last year.  I thought it was a tough season.  Congrats on doing well.

It was a very tough season in Tennessee.  My toughest in 40 years of turkey hunting!!

Agree! We use to set off in a canoe and paddle a slow moving stream while listening for birds. Awesome experience to spark a bird and then go after him.
