Old mossberg 500 with LB choke 3" LB #5

I was in a rush so I don't know the fault of it being left. This is a bit of a hybrid gun with a 24-inch Barrel I bought off of eBay that I posted the pictures of that had the bumps inside the barrel at the rib posts.

Just think of all the guys that would have hunted that gun without patterning first. Great example of how important it is to put some bench time in.

So I got to thinking about my pattern picture I posted above. I have circled 155 pellet holes. According to what I read there should be about 300 pellets in a 1.75oz load. So o know it may be hard to see in the pic but where the heck did the other 50% of the pellets go?  Sure dont seem like they can all be accounted for.  Make me wonder if multiple pellets didnt go through the same hole.
Thoughts?

Loads can/will blow out at certain distances therefore reducing the amount of pellets on target.  How large was your cardboard that the target was attached to?  It could be that it wasn't large enough to see where the other pellets landed. :z-twocents:
