just wondering if anyone has a pot call made with snakewood? i'm sure it would be expensive to make but I do love the wood!

Yep!
Have a 3" brass over slate snakewood.....it is a killer.

You're right, it ain't cheap.....finding a piece big enough to turn a solid pot is not easy....there's plenty of pieces big enough, but usually have a few checks in them.

I had Brad Roberts build me a snakewood bronzed glass/aluminum. It’s absolutely gorgeous almost to the point I’m afraid to hunt it. As previously stated it isn’t cheap and finding the right piece for a solid snakewood pot can be hard but the end result in my eyes was worth it

That is a masterpiece! There’s no way I’d hunt it, though!

I completely agree, Brad’s got too many other smoking calls to hunt with to possibly risk something happening to that one.

Wow that things incredible. I would have to set it in the hutch as a display piece.

I would hope he builds his calls to be hunted with, not put on a shelf.

He absolutely builds calls to hunt with, and I’m sure that one would definitely meet the standards to make the woods. But if you have bronzed glass over aluminum from Brad in 5 other woods, I think it’s safe to say you can leave a few at home, so that the elements won’t potentially damage the call.

That Corder pot is just stunning!

That's about the best figure I've seen on that big of a piece of snakewood.
