9 days into the NY season
« on: May 09, 2018, 09:33:20 PM »
and I finally had time to turn myself a new slate. Black micarta green slate over aluminum. Great call and I can't wait to hunt it tomorrow. Birds have been real tough in NY so far this season and I'm hoping to turn things around. Thanx for the look.

Looks nice.

I don’t think I have heard a green slate with aluminum sound board yet, does it give them more rasp than glass does? Thanks for sharing

Call has rasp but I don't think it is any different than if I used a glass sound board

Heck yes Bill!  I know if anyone knows how to tune into a turkey you can.  That's a super nice call!  Thanks for sharing!

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field
