What does everybody use to condition your stainless calls?

I use a conditioing stone.  The  more you condition my stainless call the better it plays.

Red scotch brite pad or drywall screen. I like to condition it in one direction (like most pots). Also, to help with orientation, I made a couple of small hash marks with a sharpie - so I don't have to figure out which way the "grain" of the conditioned surface runs...

Stainless when playing right sounds awesome with good rasp.. I found on mine I had to condition it with a stone a bunch. Two piece diamond wood striker and it will roll over and Kee Kee nicely! Out of all the surfaces I have tried this one has been the trickiest to condition and play correctly..

150 to 200 grit sandpaper and get rough with it after that a quick touch up with Red scotch bright. You can always rehit with sandpaper. I go back and forth like a slate call
