M2 in 20ga with 24" barrel it is. Now the million-dollar question desk how do you mount a fastfire iii on it? Also, which choke?
Don't know about the fastfire but the Indian creek is deadly in mine.

Really surprised no one said the Stoger 3020. Sub company of Benelli and is light weight.  Way money less than an m2

I don't know if the M2 is drilled and tapped, but I bought a Sumtoy mount for my FF3 on my SBE 3.  I don't think it could get any better.

The Benelli M2 20 gauge is drilled and tapped.  I just bought one a month ago and mounted a picatinny rail and a vortex venom to it.  Easy peasy!

The Stoeger compact still has a 26” barrel. Wish they offered a shorter one.

I am done, m2 it is, waiting for speed bead and ff3 + Indian Creek choke, all coming this week. Ammo will be another challenge but I don't plan on using it until fall season. Hopefully Apex will be available through the summer.
