His 2 pc Ebony is the best to me as well.. x2 on the woodhaven laminate flare tip it will do a nice job too!! David Halloran could retire if he would make a run of those 2 pc Mac strikers?

Have two that run on mine. 
A one piece dymondwood by Derrick Stuckey. - Great all around.
And when I want to get real nasty and raspy with it I use a three piece by Harold Fowler Desert Ironwood/Carbon stem with a mammoth ivory tip.
