 Pardon if this may have been discussed to death before but being a newbie here I thought I would post it up.

 I have had good luck with a goose call as some have mentioned. Also right many located with a wood duck call.

Met a guy from upstate New York who guided out west for elk. Had one gobble to a bugle. Said he made a smaller version and used it with great success upstate.

I love a jake brake on a big rig too if one sounds off nearby.

We used to hunt up behind a club house for a golf course, we would pull into the parking lot and beep the car horn and slam the doors.

I've heard them gobble to common loon calls when hunting near lakes around here, don't think anyone makes a loon call though.
