Cox cocobolo scores opening day double beard.

Opening day success with my L.F. Cox, cocobolo trumpet. Started off with a soft tree call at daylight and got a gobble. Once he was on the ground, he answered every series of clucks and yelps I threw at him. Came in on a string. Amazing how good this trumpet sounds down in an old swamp bottom. Big ole double beard to start the season off right.

That's a good one there ! That's what they're made for way to put it to use. Great pose also to show off the irregularities in the #3 primaries also. I killed a melonistic gobbler some years ago and he would have gone unnoticed had I not laid him out in the road with another natural gobbler. Good deal . Congrats !
