Ryan, this is the cedar / red slate that you recently got from Paul, correct?  Mine seems to like the dymonwood, hickory and laminated strikers as well.

Yes it is. Sounds great with Jeff's hickory (JLH on here). I like a yellowheart on it too and dymondwood.
