Choke Tube suggestions
« on: March 13, 2018, 07:13:34 PM »
I’m shooting a BPS-10 with 24” barrel. Not looking to get crazy with pellet counts but looking for a great hunting set up. Shoots federal #6’s out of factory choke very well. While the TSS and Magblend numbers are impressive it’s hard to justify $5.00 a shot. Any suggestions on a choke/ lead load combo you may have experienced good results with would be appreciated. I’m currently looking at a pattern master .720 or I/c .710...any recommendations?

In my BPS with a 28" barrel i shoot federal #6 with the flight control wad through a .695 comp-n-choke and get a pretty good pattern. These shells come out to about a dollar a shot. Sportsman's Guide has those for $9.99 a box.

A kicks .690 is a affordable option , but is not recommended for hw fed , but it does shoot it well , to be honest I got one and I'm looking to get a sumtoy ,

William at sumtoy said he just made a bunch of browning 10 gauge chokes , his chokes shoot very, very well
