Dominator calls aka stumpy ceramic
« on: March 12, 2018, 10:48:10 PM »
So last season I heard a ceramic call for the first time and thoufh it was the most realistic call I have ever heard. So I was on the search for one and heard stumpy made a dandy. So I called him and told him i only wanted one if it had rasp but realistic rasp. He didnt even reply and just started calling and I said I will take it! I am by no means a call collector. I am a run a gun bare minimum kimd of guy. For the past 3 years I have run around with one glass call and some mouth calls in my best and thats it. And i have had plenty of success with it. But i was tired of how often i had to condition glass. Even though i got plent of birds to gobble it wasnt the most realistic start to finish call I had heard. Well i got it today in a walnut pot and to me it is the most realistic call I have played! What I love is whether I am screaming or playing soft it has the same tone and amount of rasp. Which i could never get with a glass call. I am blown away and cant wait to put it to work on my beloved bama birds on Thursday! Just a shoutout for a standup guy and excellent call maker!

One of these days I’ll save up enough to get me a ceramic pot I always wanted to try one.

This pot calls pitch and tone can change dramatically by changing the striker.  Young hen old hen by changing the striker. Could not be happier this call!!
