Met a legend...
« on: February 19, 2018, 10:43:39 AM »
Finally got to meet Mr.Tom Kelly over the weekend in Nashville. He signed my copy of the tenth legion and shook my hand. From what I've heard this was the last time he wanted to make the trip to Nashville.

Col. Tom Kelly is a National Treasure for sure. Years ago,I was invited to his house for a visit .. Left with a couple signed books and a neat slate box call he made.

You were blessed to get your copy of Tenth signed. Cherish it.

Have enjoyed quite a few Col. Kelly books.  Great memory for sure!

First time being there. Kinda breezed thru. Had the wife with me so obviously I didn't get to stay as long as I wanted. From what I seen it had plenty for the turkey hunter. I went to see the Tom Kelly and was hoping he would sign my book.

He sent me several signed books with a little message  for free while I was deployed. I’ll never forget that.

I had not heard of him before this post, I have gone to youtube and listened to a few things by him and I am going to have to get some of his stuff. Really enjoyed it.
