What is a good set of chisels? My elbows hurt lol. Id like to find a set that will actually hold a edge. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would get the crowns that have been cryogenically engineered they seem to hold a really nice Edge for me but I also use a tormek sharpener to keep them looking that way

Only HSS I use now is a Benjamin's best 1/2 gouge for knocking off corners and heavy lifting. Once I'm actually getting into the pot and detail I have mini carbide from ez wood tools. Going to the carbide was a fantastic move.

I researched this yesterday. I saw where most recommended Pfeil. I ordered a specialty chisel from blue spruce last summer that I’m happy with.

I highly recommend the Pfeil butt chisels. Silly sharp and due to the shortness of them, it keeps your hands closer to your work and has made my checkering more consistent.
