Gents,
After years of service Bill has decided to step down as captain. He is still interested in staying on as a team member but would prefer that someone else take the reigns. I personally do not feel I have the technical skills to navigate the ship but would like to see the team continue. I will do whatever I can to help but I think we need to work out how to proceed from here.

I believe I sent pm's to everyone on the team either yesterday or this morning so I guess we will see who shows up. Anyone have suggestions on a captain? I know West Augusta does not want to be captain so that will narrow the list further. My personal thoughts are to nominate gobble!.
I know he has the skills to do it. I just don't know if he would be interested.

Something we need to be aware of now is that our captain needs to have at least 200 posts for the year and 50% of our team needs to have at least 50. Not sure a lot of teams have caught on to those little details. I think Gobble would be fine but haven't checked. I can be one of the members with 50 posts.

We are good on those rules. I read it as the team members only need 50 total posts not 50 in the last year. Everyone on last years team had over 50.

I haven't talked to West Augsta or Roughneck but sounds like they are in. The only other people I have that showed interest in coming back were Smooth_Operator (earlier in this thread) and BigGobbler (in the 2018 team registration thread. I PMd him this morning to confirm.) The two TBDs I have are jarbo03 (PMd him today) and Bigsho69 who hasn't been online since last June.

I'll give them another couple days to confirm then I'll add us to the 2018 registration thread. Once we get a 2018 page I'll post some things on adding pictures. I worked on that earlier today and got my signature working so I think I have it figured out with Flickr.
