Zipper style snake boot
« on: January 14, 2018, 07:18:42 PM »
Looking for a new pair of snake boots. My old lace down Danners have been good to me, but when I get in from walking all day I can't get them off fast enough. So is there any good pair of zipper type boots out there, or do they all leak, any advise.  thanks

I bought a pair from Bass Pro. Zippers can be a pain but the boots hold up well.

I was thinking of buying a pair just because for the zipper, to remove quicker. But stilled laced up so not to move around when walking all day.  After reading reviews I dont think there is any boot out there with a zipper thats any good. Zipper pulls hard, or broke, or wet feet, had to get a regular pair of boots not to leak with out having water com in where zipper. Back to figuring out what brand boot to try next. If anyone has had supper luck with a brand of boot, tell me about it.

I’ve seen where Lacrosse has came out with the side zip Venom snake boots! They are built with the new NWTF Obsession camo!

I'll never own zipper boots again.
Nightmare waiting to happen.
Hard to zip up and even harder to zip down.
Zipper will eventually separate and your boots are no longer in usable condition.
Happened on 2 pairs.
I'm lace up from here on.

Mine have those heavy metal zippers never had a problem with mine..but i have had the nylon type zipper not hold up on a hiking type shoe .. what i was told years ago on those old metal type zippers was to rub them with a bar of soap every so often..gun cases the same way...
