I definitely plan on going out on the 19th. The 20th is calling for freezing rain, don't want any part of that.

Really? Half the time they can't get a forecast right for 2 days from now, I put  0 confidence in a forecast for 10 days out!! You may want to re-evaluate late next week. I'll be duck hunting either way.

My plans are flexible. I may be able to get out on the 20th also as the forecast is no longer calling for freezing rain. We'll just have to wait and see.

No way, no how.

your not giving up a spring tag to shoot one now, so nothing to lose there.
if you don't want to shoot jakes or hens just pass on them and target adult gobblers.

I've had gobblers come in gobbling in the fall (dominance not breeding gobbles)
and I've called in gobblers in the spring that came in silent or only clucked a couple of times, either way is fun

The plan right now is to be in the woods for at least one day if not two.
