Sounded great man. Sure would have loved to hear some kee-kees.

I really like your wing bone and cane call, unfortunately I can't use/record them because my sons took them....lol

Here is a picture of all 4 trumpets used in this recording, not sure how much it matters, but you can see the length differences which might affect the pitch/tone of the calls.
Top to Bottom
Irving Whitt
Jack(Pappy) Lewis

Permar

A trumpet is the only call one of my friends has been using for 20 years.  He bought one and never bought another. Think of all the $ he's saved while I'm buying new calls almost every year.

I get a lot of enjoyment trading/buying/building different calls.....I could definitely use what I have and never look back, but what fun is that  ;D ;D

I only used a few calls for 30 years and more hunting pressure made me decide I wanted a custom call so I wasn’t using what 5 other people in my area were. I have fallen in love with call buying that’s for sure and I now have way more than I need but I sure have enjoyed it and I play my calls year around now instead of the day of the hunt

I was guilty myself, never messed with a trumpet until last year, and I have been chasing these crazy birds for 40+ years. I like the fact that very few guys use them, might just help on the public lands I hunt......Oh yeah, look forward to trying one of your trumpets  ;D

I think you sound pretty darn good on all of them....especially with only a year under your belt. Sorry it took so long for me to get to this.  My work computer and laptop have both been acting crazy for quite some time.
