Cold Morning Rut

15 degrees this morning,  fresh snow and a NE wind got this mature 8 point on his feet in the first stages of the rut here in Michigan. The crossbow did it's job at 26 yards.

Nice buck!!

 I did an all day sit yesterday. 11* when I left the truck at 6AM and 24* when I got back at 5:30PM. It was definetly a chilly one!
