Those of you that own one of his pots, I’m looking for opinions! Recently got my first two-sider, a Bill Lyman Deadly Double II, and really love their versatility. Thinking I need to add some to the flock. I’ve seen where Ed’s two-sider is highly recommended and figured I’d see if anyone had any favorites of his as far as playing surface and also type of wood used. Thanks fellas!

Any particular surface? I saw where he made a lot of bronzed glasses but since that is no longer being made, I was curious as to what everyone was liking in its place?

I never heard a bad call from Ed.  I was at his booth a couple of years ago in Nashville and all of his pot calls were very good.  He took 1st that year in two sided pot call too!

I love my cocobolo crystal over slate! Very versatile call. I don't think he can get cocobolo anymore. Great sound and even better craftsmanship.

I actually like the crystal better than his bronzed glass.
