I have a green surfaced call that looks similar to your Vancise and I thought it was anodized aluminum but I also have a Hanks aluminum that is black and now I think that is the anodized. Is the green surface a different kind of aluminum like stoned or blasted ? I just don't know the correct name of aluminum.My green surface call sounds good with tulip wood and Macasser . Thanks in advance for answering my question about the aluminum

Anodized aluminum comes in green and black. Don't know what the differences would be other than color. I guarantee someone here knows the answer though.

The green feels rougher than the black.The black feels really smooth like regular aluminum. Thanks Compton
