I won mine earlier this year at a NWTF banquet and used it for one hunt.  It works - I killed my only gobbler this year with it!  I literally just stuffed some shells in it and took it out, so I'd say with a bit of patterning time it should work as effectively as my other guns (870, 838, M1 Super 90)!
