Summer entertainment
« on: July 23, 2017, 12:11:51 PM »
Not much of a fisherman myself anymore but still enjoy watching and helping my kids and their friends. Don't know how many I set the hook on and handed the rod off too but it was a fun week.

Good times.   I have a blast around kids, grown ups not so much.

I'm impressed with the kid in the second picture.   Looks like he has a well groomed mustache and beard already. I was in my fortys before I could get that look :TooFunny:

Thanks fellows. Should have taken more pictures but with lines to untangle, hooks to bait, and fish to take off and release it was never a dull momement. A lot of the kids weren't to wild about holding them for pictures either. My youngest obviously doesn't have a problem with holding fish or posing for pictures. He is a fishing nut. This was at silver lake near Pentwater Michigan. We caught plenty of bass and walleye. Probably 6-8 of the walleye were between 16-20 inches. Some redeye, some perch, and a grass carp and a bowfin. All were released and we had fun which was all I was after.

I try to do quite a bit of fishing myself, but it always seems work gets in the way. Some of my best times are fishing with my kids. They are pretty good fisherman now beens They have been going since they were 3 years old. I love going to lakes when the crappie are on the bank and watch all the people move closer to my kids trying to move in on their spot.It looks like the kids in your life are good anglers also thanks for sharing the pictures.
