Anyone buying in to a cOx list is a moron. There's plenty of pics floating around out there of the amount of calls produced by this guy. He just uses that pitch for sales which btw is kinda funny because he has collected disability for some time now and he doesn't report the income,hence why you normally make out a postal MO in his current wife's name. For those thinking that you're buying a heirloom I have news for ya...there's a TON of cOx calls being made and he is laughing all the way to the bank with your stupidity... Furthermore a wise man once said.... You just one phone call away from federal prison and don't forget that (God rest the soul of the man who told him that)

First of all , im not a moron for being on his list and getting a call from him. You dont like him and dont like his calls , thats up to you. You have your right to your opinion but to call people who want a call from someone names because you have a issue with the individual the call is coming from is well , moronic. The bottom line is love him or hate him , the man can run a trumpet as well as build them. Glad you know he has 40 laying around that way I may get my next one a little quicker.

yep. Got several trumpets from both of them as well. Both those guys are stand up guys and pleasant to talk to for sure. They make some great trumpets. Frank is boisterous and arragant but he still makes a great trumpet. Hell , matt mcclain makes a great trumpet for half the price as the others mentioned here. I love calls and collect as well as hunt several from alot of different folks. Some other calls I have , has come from some other not so nice to deal with folks. Im not trying to be thier buddy , they have a product I like , so therefore I purchase them. I dont agree with alot of their views and actions , but thats what it is to be a american. I served and fought for this country so everyone could have a right to voice their opinion.

I've never understood why people are so in love with Farmer??? He only sells to rich collectors.....If his calls are so good, why don't you guys post up a sound file?

I do not have a Farmer and have never tried getting one.  They are a great piece of turkey hunting history but nothing I have to have.  I do not know Cox or Farmer on a personal level.  I do know that I have never heard or heard of Farmer being ugly and cruel to people to try to make himself look better.  I have also never heard or saw where Farmer went out of his way to belittle another call maker or his product.  I cannot say the same for Cox, actually there are many, many examples of Frank being a total jerk for many years.

On another thread a guy shoots an illegal elk, which I am against and glad to see justice is being served, and people are going ballistic talking about boycotting all his companies and how he is such a jerk.  Then you have a guy that has been nothing but a behind hole to many, many people for many of years and people excuse it as the way he is.  They have no personal issue with Cox so they will not get involved.  I guess that trumpet means more to them than other things in life. 

I do not own a Farmer, and most likely I never will, but I do not own a Cox and I know for certain that I never will.

Zach is relevant, makes better trumpets and can play one better than him.....plus all the videos released lately of Zach made Frank feel as he needed to smudge someone's name that sells in the same market as him. He's a worthless POS that is mentally disturbed.

My thoughts exactly, by buying his calls, you are supporting him. In other words, you are condoning the man. Personally, I don't want my good name associated with anyone who acts and treats others the way he does. He doesn't deserve my money nor my support.

I never said I could play one better, if you read my post you'll see who I said was better. Frank is so hellbent on making Zach look bad he'll trash him at any cost.....I've heard from Franks own mouth himself on this subject. Being a useful,normal human being isn't within him......again, trash and filth.

I see what you are saying , but even though frank cox is a big ole a hole , he did not shoot a hen turkey out of season or a cow elk either as far as we know. That garbage is plain unethical. Frank did not break any game laws. I agree he is a big ole a hole for the most part , but although he does flap his gums alot , that doesnt justify me not buying his calls. I am in no way defending the clown in his actions , just stating he makes a great trumpet in my opinion. I dont feel that its the holy grail of trumpets. I believe mr billy and mr farmer as well as several others make a great trumpet also. You will not speak with a finer gentleman than mr billy buice. oh and in my haste in above post , I stated I had trumpets from both the above men. I did not mean to say I had a farmers trumpet as I do not. I meant to say I have several trumpets from alot of guys including Mr Buice. My apologies.

The way people treat people mean more to me  than any animal.  I am for following all game laws and being ethical but human life has more value than animals.  A dead animal is no where close to being mean and ugly to other people. Being a jerk to everyone and talking others down because you are scared of competition seems pretty unethical and down right nasty to me and it is not just Farmer he has done it to.

It is your money and you are free to do with it as you please, just as I do with my money.  I choose to give my money to people that I can proudly say I did business with, in the trumpet world Mr. Buice and Cox are on total different ends of the spectrum and I prefer to stay on Mr. Buices side no matter how great of a call the other makes.  There are plenty of great calls in this world and even if Cox's was the only one worth a snot, I would just have to do without because of the person he is.  I will also openly admit Cox makes a very good call, but I will not give my money to someone like that.
