The flock of Buice's is growing...

I added some more to my collection this week. My wife bought me the Gaboon Ebony for my birthday/father's day from Mr Billy and it was in the mailbox Monday for me. It has an artificial ivory cap that I think sets it off nicely. I was also able to acquire an old 1980's cocobola rifle wingbone call that is beautiful. I can only imagine how many longbeards have met there maker with that one. If only it could talk. The next one is a tulipwood that has some beautiful figure to it. I have been really looking for a nice tulipwood and Mr Billy told me that is was becoming harder and harder to find. The last one is an amboyna burl with an ivory MP, an African blackwood insert, and an ivory bell. It is absolutely incredible. That one is only the second one built at the time with that wood and ivory combination. Only the gaboon ebony came from Mr Billy.

Unfortunately, I have sold all but 4 of my pot calls and the few box calls I did have to fund the collection so far. Not bad for 4 1/2 months. If I had to do it over again the only thing I would have done is to do it sooner. Sorry if you guys are getting sick of seeing them but you guys are the only ones that understand. Thanks to all that have helped me get this far!!! As always I am always looking for more...

Fine lineup of turkey killers right there. Congrats on the new callers!

You are off to a good start with some quality trumpets for sure. Good selection on the various woods. I approve!!

Hope you get to kill some Gobblers with them next year. Billy builds calls for hunting. Good luck!!

Never get "sick of seeing" any trumpet calls.  Bring em on!
You have a gorgeous set of fine horns sir!  Congrats!
That mud cured osage on the far right of the last picture is a beauty to me... they all are.

I'd like to see some close ups of that tulipwood.  She's purday!

Not sure. It won't be that green if that is what you are wanting. You are waaaaaaay late on that log.

You've chosen well my friend.  I agree that mud cured Osage really gets my attention the most.  Very fine collection and worth the investment.  Congrats.
