Shureshot Help
« on: June 13, 2017, 10:07:56 AM »
I recently installed a Remington shureshot stock on my 20 gauge 870.  When I did I lost the bead sight.  The raised stock has me looking high over the barrel.  I like the stock but can't use as is.  Are there anything I can do to correct this with a new front site or should I sell it????

Might try a set of TruGlo pro series sights or scope.

I added a red dot.   It definetly raises your head up too high for bead

The shureshot is a great stock, but it will raise your head too far to use existing plain bead. Add an aftermarket sight - rifle sights / dot, etc. That will fix it.

I had the same problem. You will need to drill and tap a sight mount. Get a Bushnell trs-25
