Why not Burris Fast Fire III? About $200 and everything you need in a reflex sight. I've had one for about 3 years and couldn't ask for better performance. Also lifetime warranty...

Can a FF111 be mounted to a vent rib? I don't want to drill and tap the gun.

Can a FF111 be mounted to a vent rib? I don't want to drill and tap the gun.

Not that I'm aware of but Burris would be wise to make a mount for a rib.

JP.. makes excellent gear/equipment for firearms. As far as the red dot,  if the S-1 is like there other products it will be Superior to the FFIII .

Aimpoint does build a great scope. I would pay the extra for the quality products they put out. Buy once cry once type of a deal.

I used a cantilever rib mount base and cut it down to size.

It can be cut down even smaller, but I liked the mounting straps butted up to the rib pillars...
