Old Timer knives?

This may be an odd question but I've noticed a couple of the well known call makers sort of highlighting Old Timer knives in their photos. Is there a particular reason they use a specific knife as the make they're calls? Is it a particular model knife?

Who......I need to send them one of mine.....

I'm honestly not familiar with this practice. Which callmakers?

I use one for checkering and tuning boxes. It has the perfect blade for it.

Look at Strawsers Facebook page.

I PM you. I couldn't post pics here either for some reason. Check out Amazon.

Disney,

I appreciate that PM. That answered my question and explained a lot. I knew there had to be a reason for the Old Timer knife use.

Thanks

I didn't think my pic posted. But that knife is the big Uncle Henry, Everlasting. I don't even want to use it because it's so nice. I might gut deer with it

Grey Owl could you share what you've learned? I'm curious now.

I hope pic posts. The Middleman is quite smaller than the Lumerjack, but makes a great pocket knife. It has 3 blades too, razor sharp.
