I see a lot of rave reviews for Monkeywood strikers.  However, whenever I did a search for "Monkeywood" I did not find a source.  I've found some references to Macacauba being called Monkeywood (and also Macawood, Coyote Wood and others).  Then find places that refer to Macacauba as being Granadillo.  Granadillo is a name applied to half-dozen species of wood and is generally regarded as a meaningless name.  Based on these searches, Monkeywood = Macacauba = Granadillo.  All this said, what is Monkeywood, and where does one obtain it?
