Finally shot my Versamax today, more than pleased with it. Shoots as good as my 870 did without murdering my shoulder. Patterned great with the Indian Creek black diamond .670. Can't wait to drop a bird with it.

I bought the sportsman Turkey Versamax but hadn't patterned it yet. What load did you shoot through your indian creek ? How did it compare against factory choke ?

I am running a Sumtoy .665 and LB #4, 3 1/2". It is capable of 65 yards not saying l would intentionally shoot a bird that far...

I’ve shot long beards and the hevi 13’s. They both shoot great, the hevi’s shoot a little better. But it’s hard to justify spending more money for less rounds.
