Started my scouting and found some birds. Now I just need to nail them down before April 19!

My season came in the 15th. Today was the 2nd day I was able to go but haven't heard a gobble either time.

Got to wait till the 17th here. Went out this morning and located 3 toms. They were the only birds I heard this morning.

I heard 7 this morning and saw 14 yesterday

I shot one this morning about 5 minutes after his feet hit the ground. Not a stud by any means but this ain't catch and release!

Been hunting since the 15th here also. I've been on a few birds but didn't connect till yesterday. He was a nice Mississippi River Swamp bird.

My season starts April  8th, I have a flock located but will be scouting  a new area next week.
