Hello Fella's

Apologise for not posting a little more. Turkey season opened here in Ontario April 25th. I generally don't hunt for myself the first little bit as I work hard at getting my dad a couple turkeys. He is 77 and his mobility isn't as good as it has been. In short we ended up getting his birds. I have been hunting hard the last week despite the heavy rain and at times snow. Lots of birds but haven't been too receptive to the call as of yet.
But I did find a pair that were receptive to the call and ended up getting a nice tom for the contest. Ill post the pics as soon as I download them from my camera. Don't know the score yet. Spurs were 1 , beard 10" and was 20.54 lbs. Working on my second.

All the best

I have had a rough season this year, between areas being closed for training on post and the rain Missouri was a wash. Went to Kansas for a week and had trouble finding birds that weren't pressured and when we did we could only hunt them one day due to the fact their side "roads" turn into ice skating rinks when it rains.  My buddy managed to kill one and I managed to miss TWICE. Little harder to judge distance in the wide open compared to the hardwoods.  Going back up next week to give it another go.

Hello fellas,
Picked up my second Ontario tom May 30. Working on posting the pics up. Having a little trouble for some reason. Sorry about this.
