Mount for Burris Fast Fire III on Mossberg 835

I bought a new mossberg 835 this January and after doing some research I decided to purchase a Burris Fast Fire 3 for it.  I'm in need of help or suggestions on how you guys have yours mounted to your gun.  Mine came with a picatinny mount, but no rail.  Thanks for the help!

Buy a Marlin 336 base and install ff3 without the picatinny mount, this way it will sit nice and low.
