28ga 1st tss load

I shot my first 28ga tss load with 9.5 shot.  At 40 yards, I got 140 hits in a 10" circle.  This is with a fixed modified choke from an 870 express.  I know I can do better if I thread and choke the barrel.  Just wondering if I should spend the extra money.  I know this gun will kill out to 40 as is. 

Should I thread/choke the barrel for $150???
