I would like to start a recurring thread of turkey pictures that you have taken, whether the subject is recently departed or soon to be. If you are like me
God help you you get a real charge out of seeing good photos (or videos) of our target species.
You don't need to be Ansel Adams, just own a digital camera of some sort (which you ought to have anyway). I just have one limiting request, please don't include any staged photos of a gobbler wearing sunglasses with a cigarette hanging out of his beak next to a can of beer, mkay? That really sits sideways in my giblets.
