This is at 25 yards. Will shoot at 40 later this week. 80grs 777, ox over powder wad, longbeard cushion, 1 3/4oz long beard encapsolated shot removed from shot cup and a carboard over shot wafer with a 1/4" slit in the center,

That looks good, I had thought about opening a longbeard shell and trying it in my TK2000.

did the long beard capsule leave any reisdue in the barrel?

Looks good.  Bet your 40 yard pattern will spread out nicely. Assume #6?

I will be trying it in the tk2000 this weekend.

The capsule leaves tons of residue. After I found that out the hard way I ran a patch with bore butter down the barrel several times before shooting it again. Seemed to solve the problem.

I shot it this morning at 40. That would be the absolute max I would use it and would feel much better at 30 and under.

from how good your 25yd pattern looked I thought you were going to be golden at 40yds

does the shot capsule fit snug in the bore once it's past the choke?

are the oxyoke over powder wads you used the same as their wool felt over powder wad?
I had good results with their wool felt wads in an open choke smoothbore

Made some changes. More velocity and if this had been just a bit lower there would be about 30 killing pellets.
