Serious question here! I have a Franchi 3.5 Affinity, I'm trying to figure out what constriction I should be shooting to shoot TSS this spring ! Any a patterns out there! I bought a 655 jebs choke, I'm afraid that's way to tight! Needing some answers, any help would greatly appreciate it!

I'd be looking for something in the .675-.690 range. They need not be expensive. Carlson's for instance should shoot fine. Shoot .675s in both my turkey guns with great results (ST in Beretta and Rem. in 1187).

Sounds like Trulock makes a good choke specifically for those shells. If you have a super full that came with the gun don't be afraid to try it.

A Federal rep/sponsor also stated Indian Creek chokes produced some of the best patterns when they patterning these shells. Give Indian Creek and call and tell them what you are planning to shoot and what kind of pattenr you would like to see. They will recommend a choke for you. They sell multiples sizes for the same gun but do not list it on their website. My 870 shoot better with a .675 Indian Creek than it did a .665 Indian Creek and the .675 was only available by calling them.

From testing in the 3" Affinity, my gun likes the .670 more than the .665.  For the heavier payloads in the 3.5" I'd only assume .675 would be around PERFECTION.

.655 with TSS screams "WARNING" to me...

I'll be patterning some Federal TSS 3 inch 1 3/4 oz #9 thru my Franchi Intensity with a Carlson's .665 non- ported choke this weekend.

Everybody I have spoke to is telling me .660 .. at the nwtf convention, and a guy at jebs ..
