Which mid priced 28g O/U
« on: February 18, 2017, 01:10:03 PM »
I'm thinking about picking up a CZ Canvasback in 28g.
Before I do, I want to get some other opinions.
Advice?

The Stevens 555 is getting great reviews that are slick.  Ive handled one personally and it felt very good. My cousin has a cz o/u, but ? On which model (I like it a lot). I own a yildiz o/u 28 and I have loved it so far.  Ive prolly shot 2 cases of lead and hand loadedI steel through without a problem so far. I'd check used racks too.  Only problem with that, in my area, most of the gun shops employees personally buyany cool 28 or .410, so finding used is next to impossible.  Good luck and post pics when ya buy!

The 555 was on my short list too. I need to get out to some of the local shops and try to put put my hands on one. Thanks.

I have the 555 in both the 28 and 410 and both perform extra well with my hand loads.
I used the 28 last year to harvest two long beards in Tenn.
