Look great! What guns do they fit? Is that what the slot is for, to fit different patterns?

It is just another way to mount.  I think it will be better because we had to put a flat base on a round action.  This fits the action and one thing we find is it dont leave a gap for a vine or limb to hang in.   This one the vine or limb should slide past it because it dont have the lip.

What's ballpark pricing on one of these mounts?  Do they sit as low as a 336? Thanks.

oh I agree. it definetly looks more correct, and nothing to snag for sure. wish these were around when I mounted my 336. not gonna pull the 336 off to replace it, but in the future when I build a 20 guage ill definetly get this one vs the 336

That looks great William. Are they one size fits most?  I'd like to put one on my weatherby sa-08 20 gauge. I guess I'd have to drill and tap? Any problems with the aluminum receiver on those guns?

We have one that goes on the 20ga and one that go on 12ga.   If you thread it and put some type of adhesive under it you be fine.  They big thing with scopes and sights on shotguns is the weight.  Big heavy sights/scopes will work on the mounts and screws.
