Congrats I know he makes a good one. I just haven't crossed the threshold yet! That's a good looking piece of wood too.
If you're on the fence, I'd highly recommend jumping over. I never gave these little calls much thought, to be honest - but it was next on my list of "I gotta learn how to play that..." calls. I just can't get over how much versatility, volume, and turkey voice this call has - like
gergg mentioned in his post...
It takes some practice, but I would rank it as the easiest to master out of the diaphragm & trumpet category.
I know there really isn't a "Genie in the bottle" call that works every time, and I also know full well I could head to the woods with a $6 mouth call and take care of business, but heck - that's no fun. Plus, I truly like the challenge of learning all types of calls.
