Boys first birds
« on: April 25, 2016, 05:33:02 PM »
Thought id share some pics of my boys first birds taken this spring(when Fullchoke gets em posted anyway  ;D)

First pic is my oldest Jacob(9) who shot this 14 lb jake on Sat April 23. His first spring bird and third overall

Second and third pic is my youngest Ryan(6) who killed this 22 lb gobbler on his very first hunt April 9 during the MO youth hunt. He got to have his picture taken with our friend Billy Yargus at a lunch bbq for youth hunters that day.

Pic 4 is both boys with Ryan's bird in the field where he fell.

It's been a really good year!

Here's some great hero shots of these fine young men.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.

It really doesn't get any better than that.  Really.

Guns don't kill people.  Guns kill food.

One of my primary goals for next season is to have that experience with my grandson. I want him to develop a love for the outdoors as I have. Congrats to you and your boys.
