so my ol man just picked up a NE 10 gauge 3.5'' fixed full choke...... whats everyones thought about this gun?

Wont know until you shoot it. Mine measured .720 exit diameter and didn't put up very good numbers so I sent it off and had barrel threaded for chokes. Does great now with a .685 Sumtoy tube.

Before you send it off to be threaded, try the Federal Heavyweight 6's and 7's.  I've patterned a couple of the non-threaded New England firearms and old H&R's that put up even patterns at 40 yards w/160-195 in 10", w/ the HTL Federal Flitecontrol shells.

Mine shoots the mag blends....and they are just hammers......its a NEF long barrel with a Rhino 720 .....and yes it is like a mini car wreck......but on both ends.....one for you and the bird.

Mine does fair with Federal Lead #6's in a Kicks choke.
