I won't be going till Thursday.
I am going to bag my first Turkey this spring if it is the last thing I do!

Haven't seen a turkey yet this year. FIRST season ever for that.

Went out for about two hours this morning. Plenty of good roost gobbling and hen cutting to greet the day. I was on the wrong side of the hollow to make a play but all in all it was great to be out. Won't get back out till Thursday now, but I have four days in a row to hit it hard. Good luck fellows!

I hope to get out one last time this weekend before the season closes. Rained me out the first couple times I went.

Got out this morning and managed to kill a two year old. Still kicking myself for missing big Daddy but that's life I guess. Seems like the birds are starting to be a little more responsive than at the beginning of season. Have three more weeks so I am hoping for an upgrade or two. The bird I killed had rubbed the feathers off of his breastvfrom breeding so much. Had a hen with him and another two year old tom.

Sounds like you got the stud. NOT always the biggest and oldest bird that is the toughest. Congrats...

Birds have come alive this week in Allegany County.
