Heading to Bama
« on: April 06, 2016, 12:15:18 PM »
I will be leaving this afternoon to go hunt Alabama for a few days on some private property.  Hopefully I can score us a biggun!

I killed a 2 year old Saturday here at home, but forgot to score and take pics.  He was a little 2 year old anyway so he would've only scored around 50.  Surely I can beat that!  Good luck to all those going this weekend

I've returned with nothing but a sore back, legs, and a bruised ego.  Hunted hard for 3 days but only got in the game once, on the last morning.  Turkeys were acting weird, weren't in the spots the landowner had anticipated, and shut up shortly after fly down.  Had a good time hunting in a new place and ate some good camp food.  Maybe I can still get it done in La on another bird, but it will be tough.
